Peterson, Theophilus
Born in Philadelphia. Partner with George and Thomas in T. B. Peterson & Brothers, publishers of cheap novels. He died at home in Philadelphia.
Peterson had no known interest in numismatics. He was the publisher of Petersons' Complete Coin Book and Petersons' Counterfeit Detector; Peterson's Counterfeit Detector and Bank Note List (1868). Publisher of Thompson's Bank Note Reporter (1849); Thompson's Bank Note and Commercial Reporter (1863).
